The Key to Personal Power

What changes your life for the better is:

Making [Wise] Decisions
and
Using your Personal Power!*

*[P2= your ability to take consistent action]

The Unlimited Success Formula
1 Know your outcome
2 Get yourself to take action by deciding to do so.
3 Notice what you’re getting from your actions.
4 If what you’re doing is not working change your approach.

To save time and energy, use role models to accelerate the pace of your success:
1 Find someone who’s already getting the results you want.
2 Find out what the person is doing
3 Do the same things and you’ll get the same results.
It’s impossible to fail as long as you learn something from what you do!

Your assignment:
1 Write two decisions you’ve been putting off which, when you make them now, will change your life.
2 Now that you’ve made a real decision, you must
take immediate action.
To do that write down the first few steps.
What are three simple things you could do immediately
– right now –
that would be consistent with your new decisions?
(For example, if you decided to stop eating pizza, what could you do with the pizza (or junk food) that is in your house right now?)

Who could you call?
What could you commit to?
What letter could you write?
What could you do instead of your old behavior?

List the immediate actions, and then take action on them right now, in this moment.

Never leave the site of setting a goal or making a decision without taking some action toward its attainment.

That’s how you create momentum and start to tap into the real driving force within you:

1. Two decisions I’ve been putting off which, which when I make them now, will change my life:

2. Three simple things I can do immediately that will be consistent with my two new decisions:

PREDATORS PREFER DIM~WITTED PREY

Law of the Poker Jungle: SURVIVAL of the FITTEST

How do the Fit survive?
~By preying on the weak! By attacking the weaker players with their short~stacks.
The “loosey~goosey”’s
The timid~tit~mouse who is guaranteed to fold to a re~raise Bluff.

$ucce$$ in poker is directly measured as a function of who has the best/biggest brains.
…plus heart, courage and a whole lot of other Wizard of Oz~ish Qualities.

The best poker brains know to Punish and Pummel their dim bulb foes.

This is where the whole concept of “dead~money” comes from in tournament poker.
It’s a GIVEN that in any tournament field there’s a fixed % of players who simply don’t know what they are doing against U.

Our job?
Simple:
Prey on that loose, dead money and scoop out as much of it as we can b4 the other predators beat us to it.
Go after and git DEADMONEY~ or YOU are the “DeadMoney”.

Don’t be TOO patient during the early stages as other predators build chip stack advantages…
or YOU will become the prey du jour. ~Not good.

Think about this the next time that U go into a tournament determined to: “s u r v i v e”.
Never confuse “Survival” with “lasting a long time”.

U game plan must include a decent set of tactics for preying on the weak minds U find.

Always be prepared to steal.
Steal Blinds.
Steal via the Re~raise Bluff.

Be prepared to kreate the most profitable image possible~
so that if the cards cooperate and bring u the rigt hand at the right time*
[situational luck]*
~u will be able 2 convince a few of ur prey 2 pay U off.

Give urslef a decent chance TO WIN the tournament~
and give urself that shot FROM THE START of the Tournament,
even at the cost, SOMETIMES, of an early exit from the field.

Remember:

“dumb animals die”

Note: Be aware of the dangerous cats [pirahna] around U.
Know who’s who.
Who’s capable of making bold, tricky moves~ and more importantly: who is not.

Define Pirahnas and Pansies early.
Then ATTACK the straightforward players and avoid the Jackyls.

Build Ur stack. Move Ahead.

Successful poker play,
and successful tournament lay,
and even successful life
really just boils down to the basics:

“Don’t challenge the Strong~
Challenge the Weak.”

“That’s what they are there for.”

It was a good feeling ’cause i didn’t have 2 throw up.”

Getting it removed was hard~ because it had become a part of me.

Benefits Check-Up

If both you and your spouse are working,
it’s a good idea to look over your benefits and make sure you’re picking and choosing the right ones — doing so can save you money in the end.

Health Insurance: You and your spouse should pick the best health insurance from your respective benefits packages based on benefits and costs. You’ll want to eliminate any duplicate coverage — and save that money.

Life & Disability Insurance: You and your spouse will both need your own life and disability insurance policies. If your employer’s standard policies aren’t adequate — and in most cases, they’re not — find out if you can buy more under your group plan. Once you find out what your group plan’s added costs are, compare with quotes from an insurance agent. Also, watch for notices from your benefits departments about opportunities to buy more life or disability insurance without having to fill out a medical questionnaire or take a physical.

forbidden fruit

C r i m i n a l

I’ve been a bad bad girl…

I’ve been careless with a delicate man

And its a sad sad world
When a girl will break a boy…

…just because she can

Don’t you tell me to deny it

I’ve done wrong and I want to
Suffer for my sins

I’ve come to you ’cause I need
Guidance to be ture
And I just don’t know where I can begin

What I need is a good defense
‘Cause I’m feelin’ like a criminal
And I need to redeemed
To the one I’ve sinned against
Because he’s all I ever knew of love

Heaven help me for the way I am
Save me from these evil deeds
Before I get them done
I know tomorrow brings the consequence
At hand
But I keep livin’ this day like
The next will never come

Oh help me but don’t tell me
To deny it
I’ve got to cleanse myself
Of all these lies till I’m good
Enough for him
I’ve got a lot to lose and I’m
Bettin’ high
So I’m beggin’ you before it ends
Just tell me where to begin

What I need is a good defense
‘Cause I’m feelin’ like a criminal
And I need to redeemed
To the one I’ve sinned against
Because he’s all I ever knew of love

Let me know the way
Before there’s hell to pay
Give me room to lay the law and let me go

I’ve got to make a play
To make my lover stay
So what would an angel say
The devil wants to know

What I need is a good defense
‘Cause I’m feelin’ like a criminal
And I need to redeemed
To the one I’ve sinned against
Because he’s all I ever knew of love

What I need is a good defense
‘Cause I’m feelin’ like a criminal
And I need to redeemed
To the one I’ve sinned against

Because he’s all I ever knew of love

10 Steps to Being Completely Healthy

1. EXERCISE — A minimum of 20 minutes of aerobic exercise to increase the heart rate three times per week. Talk to your doctor and start slowly. More exercise is OK as long as it is sensible and balanced.
Progressive Resistance Training is a “must”.

2. EAT HEALTHY — Have balanced meals, more fruits, vegetables and fish, less red meat and far less junk food. Vitamin supplements are OK if guided by a nutritionists or doctor.

3. EAT LESS — Conscious eating always produces a significant decrease in food consumption. This can mean as much as 50- to 75-percent difference in some compulsive eaters.

NOTE: One’s ability to consistently fulfill and practice Laws 1, 2 and 3 is dependent upon the practice of ALL 7 Laws below. Will power and denial are no substitutes. The ability to sustain the practice of the first three Laws is a direct result of practicing Laws 4 through 10.

4. SELF-EXPRESSION Risk being {and doing} your true self in action, words and thinking
This is absolutely essential. Say what you mean.

“Say it like it is.”

Do that which is right for you and live your life in such a way as to reflect your best talents and skills.
Demonstrate your heart, … and your Character.
This Law is highly dependent upon the practice of Laws 5 through 10.

5. SELF-ACCEPTANCE — A willingness and ability to love and accept yourself as the imperfect and wonderful person that you are while you live your life on this planet. Overcoming crippling self-hate and extreme self-judgment and replacing them with compassion and a realistic assessment of your true value. This Law is dependent upon the practice of Laws 7, 9 and 10.

6. MANAGE EMOTIONSThe ability to identify, observe and productively focus and/or express your intense emotions. This Law is dependent upon the practice of Law 7.

7. HEAL EMOTIONS — Identifying, experiencing and working through your emotional wounds so they no longer dominate your behavior, your relationships and your sense of self. This Law is dependent upon the practice of Laws 8, 9 and 10.

8. MANAGE THINKING — The ability to identify, observe and productively focus your thought processes. Includes the awareness that most thinking is perceiving as opposed to knowing. This Law is dependent upon the practice of Law 9.

9. HEAL THINKING — Identifying, experiencing and working through your mental wounds so that they no longer dominate your emotions, your perceptions, your relationships and your sense of self.

10. SPIRITUAL NURTURE AND DEVELOPMENT – A willingness and ability to connect and relate to the Divine Source. An ability to allow that Source to guide your life and nurture your deepest needs. This Law affects all other Laws. Your ability to practice it effectively can be limited by issues either healed or avoided in Laws 7 and 9.

Remember:
Physical Vitality / Proper Weight and Body Fat are a by product of the Thoughts that you consistently think. {Not the food/drugs/exstacy that your body indulges in.}

Be good.
Be well.
Be wise.

Making a Difference to One~

One morning, I went out for my daily sunrise walk on the beach.

Off in the distance, I could see someone pick something up off the beach,
wade a little ways into the ocean and then toss the object into the water.

Then, the person,
who appeared to be a small boy,
picked up another object and tossed it also into the sea.

He continued to do this tirelessly as I walked toward him.

As I approached,
I saw that he was picking up one of what looked to be one of a millionstarfish that had been washed up onto the shore..

I stopped and asked him why he was doing this.

The boy explained that the starfish were stranded,
churned up onto the shore due to an unexpected storm~
and that in another hour or two they would dry up in the mid-day sun and die.

He was saving their lives.

The innocence of youth,
I thought.

I told him that there were tens of thousands of starfish along the legnth of the beach,
and that he couldn’t possibly make a difference.

The child stopped and looked down,
as if to study the water that washed over our bare feet.

He walked over and picked up another starfish,
waded into the sea and tossed it in.

Sir…?,” he said, pointing into the sea.

“Yes,” I answered.

His head tilted slightly…. and his eyes smiled brightly as he replied with his final thought:

“It made a difference for that one.”
